We all know I’m a sucker for sweets. Milk and Cream Bar has been on my ‘must visit’ list forever and a half. So when Markus and I finally got to stop in I was so ready.
The store is located near Soho and Chinatown. Sidenote, there are so many good dessert spots in this area (Taiyaki is another favorite, see here or here). Milk and cream bar is basically your childhood taken to the next level. Basically it is a cereal bar. So first you can pick what you want, such as a bowl of cereal, ice cream cone or bowl or even a milkshake.
You then get to pick the flavor of ice cream or milk, type of cereal(s), any toppings and a drizzle if you want. They have some items already put together like the Banana Cream below which is blend of granola crisp, bananas and teddy grahams topped with banana, teddy grams and a drizzle of honey.
But you can also make your own creations, this is your chance to bring your childhood cereal dreams to reality. There really are no limits to what you can create. See a few of the ones Markus and I made below!
Whether you like Fruity Pebbles, Fruit Loops, Lucky Charms or anything else, this needs to be one of your next stops. Also be sure to follow their instagram to induce the
worst best cravings.
Disclaimer, they are super popular. So there may be a line. It’s not too bad but just be aware of it. Maybe go on a weekday or less popular time if you can! There is seating but again, it could be full. Even if there is a line though, it never seems to take that long!
Go check them out ASAP! I know I’ll be back any day now.
