My recent spring break trip to Miami a few weeks ago was one of, if not the, best trip of my life. One of the reasons why is the food. I had the chance to work with some amazing restaurants around town and loved every one of them. Here are a few of my favorites…
This may be my number one favorite. Markus and I stopped by for brunch. First of all, the set up is so cute. But even more important, the food is amazing. They are set up at the Freehand Hotel in Miami Beach. They have a garden out back which helps account for the freshness of the food. I recommend the breakfast tacos and the banana bread French toast. Be sure to check out all their drinks and juices as well!

The Local House is another great brunch spot! They are located just a few steps from the beach and have a beautiful patio. Once again the food was so fresh and delicious !

Fun fact, this place catered the after party of Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wayde’s wedding! And to be honest, Markus and I are considering it too. This is another spot close to the beach that is super easy to stop by! The food is delicious and I promise you will want to come by again.

This was our last dinner in Miami and I wouldn’t have wanted it to be anywhere else. The vibe is totally upscale and the outdoor patio is a great place to watch the sunset and the people walking by. I also want to mention that the desserts are phenomenal, the gelato is made in house and can’t be skipped. The drinks are great and adjacent in the hotel is the Regent Cocktail Club. We were able to witness the Havana night and lets just say Markus was obsessed.

This is a super cute spot to grab a quick bite when you are down near south beach. They are open 24 hours so it is super accessible. They have pizza, sandwiches and a ton of treats. These donuts were the best I have ever had, no joke.

6. Taco Rico
This is an honorable mention. We didn’t collaborate with them, but came across it our first afternoon in Miami and literally went every single day we were there. It is a tex-mex place in South Beach. This place is so affordable and so good. They have amazing lunch specials that allow you to try any and everything you want. I must say, the taco platter was my go-to by the end of the trip. Also, the pico de gallo is by far the best I have ever had.

Next time I’m in the area I will definitely be returning to all of these spots. It’s been two weeks and I still am talking all about them. I would do anything for those 27 Restaurant breakfast tacos right about now.
I hope this helps make your trip to Miami a little more tasty…
