When I heard Kylie was launching a skincare line, I didn’t know what to think. I went to high school a few miles from where the Kardashians live and saw Kylie and Kendall a few times at the Calabasas commons. But even though KUWTK is one of my guilty pleasures, I had never bought any of their products, ranging from Kylie Cosmetics or KKW Beauty.
Skincare has been my priority lately. At the end of spring, my skin was better than ever. Maybe it was the change in climate or eating habits, but the clear complexion I had worked so hard on faded. Over the beginning of summer, I started experiencing quite a few breakouts. My forehead had some texture and it just wouldn’t go away.
I figured trying KYLIESKIN couldn’t hurt. It was a great chance to see what happened.
I bought the full set. Unfortunately, I had to buy the products individually so the cost was a little higher but I wanted to try the set together. I also grabbed the travel pouch since I knew I would be traveling over summer.
Overall, I am fairly impressed. I have a full video with product breakdown and prices here. But here is a quick breakdown: Foaming Face Wash, Walnut Face Scrub, Vanilla Milk Toner, Vitamin C Serum, Face Moisturizer, and Eye Cream.
After using the line for about 2 weeks, I definitely noticed a difference in my skin. The biggest difference was the texture and hydration. My skin seemed to have a nice glow and smooth appearance to it. I didn’t expect to really like the moisturizer as I thought it would either make me too oily or be too drying. In reality, it is a perfect base under makeup or by itself.
My favorite product from the line is the Vanilla Milk Toner. I think that it is the most unique product in the range. It truly feels like it is adding to your skin and hydrating it while most toners can feel very stripping. The smell of this product is also amazing. My second favorite is the face wash. If you have dry skin it may be too much, however I find that it leaves my skin extremely soft.
Its been a couple months and I still use the products. My skin did have another breakout phase which caused me to stop using them for a couple weeks, but as soon as I started using KYLIESKIN again it cleared up. I think that it will always be something I like to have on hand. The Vitamin C Serum ran out first and the wash and moisturizer are about to run out.
I want to repurchase the items, but they are sold out. The biggest downside to this skincare routine is the availability.
I can honestly say that the KYLIESKIN line is definitely worth trying. Its actually affordable compared to some higher-end skincare lines. I was pleased with the results. Not to mention the packaging is super cute. I find myself reaching for the products because I actually love them.
Have you tried it out? Let me know how it works for you and your skin type!
